Dear Photo Traveler:
Join me on a photographic journey through timeless Rajastan. Located in the western region of India, Rajastan is India at her colorful best.
Rajastan has been the land of the maharajas and their nobles. They gave their best attention to their residence by building palaces and forts, which have been converted into luxury hotels. One highlight of this photo tour is experiencing royal life by staying in several of these magnificent palaces and forts.
Tribal women wear beautiful and simply crafted jewelry and seem to shimmer in the sunlight with their colorful saris. Men too wear their share of ornaments in the form of chokers and earrings.
Much has been written about Jaisalmer, however, nothing can prepare the visitor for the sheer magic and brilliance of this desert city. Here is a city that seems to rise out of the desert haze, its yellow sandstone walls and bastions taking on a golden hue in the afternoon sun.
This photo tour features the spectacular Pushkar Camel Fair. The sand-dunes of Pushkar are covered with hundreds of thousands of colorful dressed Rajastani people. They bring with them thousands of camels, cattle and horses for the 5 days of the fair.
Special care has been taken in designing this itinerary. It offers a variety of interests, to both the traveler and photographer. It is suggested that you give this photo tour your consideration as soon as possible as it will be limited to 6 participants.
Thank you.
